  • A Tale of Two Cities

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way."

  • Surgery Day

Well, the past six months have been leading up to this day for MaryAnn and I; the dreaded, yet necessary day that Dr. Chagpar would wheel MaryAnn into the O.R. and surgically remove the cancer demons from her chest. The tumor was shrunk down to a manageable size through chemotherapy, hopefully, leaving enough 'margin' between her chest wall and the mass to get a good whack at it, next came surgery (today), and then the 60 day regimine of radiation therapy.

  • Time to Redesign

Redesigning your site is kind of a romantic idea. You think of all the stuff you want to do, want to say, want to show. You think and think and probably over-think and then, finally, one day, you go for it. If you have a budget you likely hire someone like me and they then attend to all the heavy lifting. We love that. Not only do we get to do what we love to do, we get paid for it.

  • Full of Hope

It's a hope-filled season. The world may be going to hell in a hand-basket but in the words of J.Vernon McGee, "God is still on the throne and prayer changes things." In that I rest knowing that Mary Ann is in the care of a loving heavenly Father to whom this cancer was never a surprise, and who has always had her best in mind, in fact, the bible tells me that He is thinking about her right now. Now that is a hope-filled thought!
